Some great news from Boards of Canada, their new album Campfire Headphase will be released on 17th October 2005, can't wait.
Coldcut's new album also looks like its finally on the way
Banksy on holidays at the illegal wall. Check out his latest treasure hunt
If you're looking for a good exhibition in Dublin check out the excellent Offside exhibition running at the Hugh Lane gallery until 30th of September. The show is being run by Pallas Studios in collaboration with the Hugh Lane. The show is mainly sculpture, my favourite piece was Mount Fear by Abigail Reynolds, the corrogated card contour piece, you'll know it when you see it, has a really good sting in the tail. Also well worth checking out is Brian Duggan's video installation which you watch from a horizontal position.
Also well worth checking out this summer before it leaves is the Orpen show on at the National Gallery in Dublin.
Blasket Islands saga goes on. After years of wrangling seems the Blasket islands are no nearer protection. THey are suposed to be on their way to becoming a world heritage site but it seems a long long way off. My advice is go and see them now before they start building piers and interpretive centers on the actual island, check out some images I took there.
