Some new Painting

Siobhan and Charlotte

Finished this a bit back, Siobhan and Charlotte in the bedroom, quite happy with it need to move to a larger size which is what I used to paint at, I've been doing quite small paintings 24" x 25" finding it a bit repressive :)

Online Photo Editing here at last!

Yes its been a while, I haven't posted for an age. I seem to have been very busy for two months now so the site has been neglected something I mean to change. Anyway if you haven't seen this you must check it out. For ages now I've been dreaming of an online tool that would allow me to make simple edits to photos in flickr in a seamless way. Step forward Picnik. This promises to change things in a big way. Sign up and you can edit your photos from flickr and other blogs or from your pc all online. It seamlessly saves your changes back to Flickr as well as allowing you to change titles, tags, privacy etc, basically everything. So you can now do a huge upload toa private folder and then edit, crop, resize, tune at your leisure online! Happy days!!!

Latest show from new bit

Great new show from New Bit now up on samurai.fm, featuring a mental live mix from Zombie Nation very cool. If any of you lucky people are in London in mid December the Samurai Christmas party is on and it looks like it'll be pretty amazing with the after party featuring New Bit. Hmmm if only!

Dressing Up - Finished

The painting is finally finished now, took ages to complete but was painted in only 3 or 4 sessions, its really hard to get the window to sit down and paint, time is really a luxury recently.

Starting to get to grips with acrylics now after years of using oils, have to say really like using them, when you have limited space and are painting on a kitchen table in short slots of time they are ideal.

August Show

Been so long since I posted on the site, been busy looking after our new arrival so as you can imagine with 2 running around there hasn't been much time for posting.

However having said that still managed to have a great show in August. Eric Abel is a very interesting LA based painter. He used the sites exhibition space to showcase some of his sketchbook/preparatory drawings for some of his most recent pieces. Always good to see how a painter gets to a final image. You can view his New Chemical History show here.
