David Lanham was born and raised in Orange Park, Florida and is currently living and working in Orlando, Florida as a freelance illustrator/designer.
He studied fine arts and graphic design at the University of Central Florida, and graduated in 2003 with a BA in graphic design. He has continued drawing and doing fine art, but has also crossed over into some illustration work that is supported with the backbone of his traditional experience.
The subject matter he uses comes from observing the world around him and putting a twist into it with his vivid imagination. The imagery is kept loose and ambiguous, leading the viewer to extract the meaning(s) of the piece for themselves. However, the work in mainly focused on having fun and exploring, with the unpredictability of the future bringing the unexpected forward.Eoin Flynn is a Monaghan reared artist currently living in Dublin working as a Design Consultant / Mac Operator.
He studied Animation in Senior college Ballyfermot, Art Education in NCAD, and finally graduated in 1998 from the University of Sunderland with an honours degree in Arts and Design. A member of PALLAS studios in Dublin, he has shown with the studios in the Irish Art Fair and more recently in the EGG gallery, Liverpool.
The work shown here is part of an ongoing project entitled "the organic form". The pieces are made through a process of Photography, Digital Imaging and then Paint. This work, while most importantly being about the creation of an image that pleases the eye, also seeks to illustrate the connection between ourselves as animals and living matter, and the more base organic constructions like seaweed and rotten wood etc.
All works can be viewed by appointment.
