David Lanham

David Lanham was born and raised in Orange Park, Florida and is currently living and working in Orlando, Florida as a freelance illustrator/designer.He studied fine arts and graphic design at the University of Central Florida, and graduated in 2003 with a BA in graphic design. He has continued drawing and doing fine art, but has also crossed over into some illustration work that is supported with the backbone of his traditional experience.The subject matter he uses comes from observing the world around him and putting a twist into it with his vivid imagination. The imagery is kept loose and ambiguous, leading the viewer to extract the meaning(s) of the piece for themselves. However, the work in mainly focused on having fun and exploring, with the unpredictability of the future bringing the unexpected forward.
